On Thursday night June 10th there will be a reception at the Roger Tory Peterson Institute headquarters. President Jim Berry will give a special presentation on The Peterson Collection, where he will unveil a few of the rarest pieces of Peterson art and memoribilia and talk about their significance. Also featured will be Dr. Jerome A. Jackson of Florida Gulf Coast University. Jerry is an eminent ornithologist and wildlife ecologist and author of In Search of the Ivory-Billed Woodpecker. Jerry's presentation is titled The Ivory-billed Woodpecker: History, Natural History, and Gems in the Ashes of Hope.  You don't want to miss this one.
