Birding in the Footsteps of Roger Tory Peterson – Trip Leader Mark Baldwin

 

Roger Tory Peterson began his lifelong interest in birds in the woods and fields of Jamestown. Some of the places he came to know intimately in the 1920’s are much the same today. Join us for a driving and walking tour of Roger’s old birding haunts.

 

RTPI Education Director Mark Baldwin is a professional developer in the areas of nature education and teaching in the outdoors. He has a longtime interest in using field journals and sketching to create nature awareness and appreciation. Mark lives in Jamestown with his wife, Ardy, and daughters, Kristin and Kelly.
