Field trips will be from early morning until noon with afternoons spent in bird related workshops.

Field tripswill not be overly strenuous, but prepare for varying terrain with occasional  wet-spots and other typical walking trail obstacles.  Bring water, a snack, hat, rain gear and comfortable shoes.

This year there will be 2 all-day field this year that promise an impressive list of sightings.  On Friday June 8, 2012 there's a Grassland Nesting Birds trip to the Piney Tract: Grassland Birding on old Strip Mine Sites near Sligo in Clarion County, PA that boasts Henslow's and Grasshopper Sparrows singing on terrfitory.  The 2nd day trip is on Saturday June 9 where we're repeating the ever-popular Whirlwind Warbler Tour on Saturday June 9 to Allegheny National Forest in Warren County, PA.
