Gary Edwards

Gary Edwards will be the leader of "Grasslands Nesting Birds" all-day trip on Friday June 8th. Gary is a retired environmental regulatory compliance specialist. Following up on a childhood interest in birds, he began birding seriously about thirty years ago. As a Charter Member of Seneca Rocks Audubon Society, Gary served as its first president (1984-85), and again from 1997-2001. He has been the Venango County Compiler for the Pennsylvania Society for Ornithology's quarterly journal Pennsylvania Birds since its inception in 1987, served as a County Coordinator for the 1st PA Breeding Bird Atlas, and as a Regional Coordinator for the 2nd PA Breeding Bird Atlas. He enjoys leading field trips and teaching birding courses for beginners.
