Thomas Simmons, originally from Erie, PA, has lived in Jamestown, NY, since 1964. He is a retired teacher from the Jamestown Public School System. He is a past president of the Jamestown Audubon Society (1990-1994) and of the Roger Tory Peterson Institute Ornithological Club (1999- 2001). He is also a charter member of the RTPI Ornithological Club.
